- General fair gate admission tickets include admission to all of the shows, exhibits, Exhibition and Arts and Crafts Building and evening entertainment.
- ATMs located throughout the fair grounds.
- General Fair gate admission for children three and under is free.
- Ticket Booths, No Ticket Sales, No Entry, or Re-entry after 9 p.m.
- The fairgrounds will remain open each night until 11 p.m.; while the buildings close at 10 p.m. nightly. *subject to change*
- Shirt and shoes are required to be worn on the fairgrounds at all times.
- No pets, firearms, weapons, outside food, drugs, or alcohol may be brought onto the premises. Certified services animals only.
- If weather forces closure of the Fair, those in attendance may get their hand stamped for re-entry to the fair that same day.
- No rainchecks, refunds or re-admission for another day will be provided. The Chesterfield County Fair Association does not handle the midway rides and cannot provide refunds for them.

Height restrictions vary per ride.
Most kiddie rides have a 36" minimum height requirement, some allow under that height restriction if accompanied by an adult.
Adults must have tickets to ride with a child per insurance requirements.
