2025 Fair dates have been set! Plan to visit the fair Friday, Aug. 22 – Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025!

Age requirements for Chesterfield County Fair entry

Age requirements for the 2025 fair state that no one under 18 will be admitted to the Chesterfield County Fair unless accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old. Chaperones must provide a valid government-issued photo ID displaying their date of birth at the ticket booth. Each chaperone may accompany a maximum of four guests aged 18 or younger per day. Clear bag policy starting this year

To provide a safer environment for the public and significantly expedite fairgoers’ entry into fairgrounds, Chesterfield County Fair Association has implemented a clear bag policy that limits the size and type of bags that may be brought into fairgrounds. Exceptions to this policy will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection. See more information about the clear bag policy.

- Monday-Friday: 5 – 11 p.m.
- Friday, Aug 30: 11 a.m. - 11 p.m.
- Saturday-Sunday: 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.

Inclement Weather Policy

If weather forces closure of the Fair, those in attendance may get their hand stamped for re-entry to the fair that same day.
No refunds or re-admission for another day will be provided. The Chesterfield County Fair Association does not handle the midway rides and cannot provide refunds for them.
