Get Ready for the Fair!

Age requirements for Chesterfield County Fair entry

Effective Thursday, Aug. 29, 2024, beginning at 6 p.m., no one under the age of 18 will be admitted to the Chesterfield County Fair unless they are accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years of age. Such chaperones must present a valid government-issued photo identification with their date of birth at the ticket booth area(s). One chaperone may accompany no more than FOUR (4) guests ages 18 or younger per day. See more detail about the Age Requirements for Fair Entry

Clear bag policy starting this year

To provide a safer environment for the public and significantly expedite fairgoers’ entry into fairgrounds, Chesterfield County Fair Association has implemented a clear bag policy that limits the size and type of bags that may be brought into fairgrounds. Exceptions to this policy will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection. See more information about the clear bag policy.

- Monday-Friday: 5 – 11 p.m.
- Friday, Aug 30: 11 a.m. - 11 p.m.
- Saturday-Sunday: 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.

Inclement Weather Policy

If weather forces closure of the Fair, those in attendance may get their hand stamped for re-entry to the fair that same day.
No refunds or re-admission for another day will be provided. The Chesterfield County Fair Association does not handle the midway rides and cannot provide refunds for them.
