Join us on September 5, 2026 for the Youth Poultry Show, featuring a Youth Sportsmanship Competition and a Costume Contest.

Show Schedule

  • Coop-In: 8:30-9:30 a.m
  • Youth Showmanship Competition: 10 a.m.
  • Costume Contest: 1 p.m.
  • Award Presentation: 4 p.m.
  • Coop-Out: 5 p.m. (No early coop-out)
  • Poultry Tent Closing: 10 p.m.

Any poultry left after 10 p.m. will become the property of Chesterfield County Fair Association). Coops will be provided for all show birds.**

Auction

We are excited to announce that three sets of beautiful five-month-old pullets will be available for auction at this year's fair!
Whether you are looking to expand your flock or just admire some quality birds, we will have three separate lots available:
*   One set of four pullets
*   One set of five pullets
*   One set of six pullets
These birds will be available for live viewing throughout the fair from August 28 through September 4. We invite you to stop by, take a look, and see for yourself just how beautiful these pullets are!

The auction is now open and ends on Friday, Sept. 4 at 7 p.m. Bids can be placed online at Fairentry.com, all proceeds go to the 4-H'er that raised the birds. If you have the winning bid, you will be contacted with the phone number you registered with. If we are unable to reach you the next bidder in line will be contacted.

Payments must be made before removing the birds from the fairgrounds by 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5. Any birds left after 10 p.m. will become property of the Chesterfield County Fair Association.

Payments can be made in person at the information booth or by credit card over the phone at 804-768-1555. Credit card payments will have an added fee of 3% for processing. There will be an additional $35 NSF charge for all returned checks or credit card transactions.
